They laugh when a slave says that Mistress Lexi or Jenni are too sadistic for them to serve. They decide to remove his freedom to go and to show him just how great it was. The slave was first bitten by Lexi and then Jenni. Now the slave is a vampire and cannot do any other than what his masters want.
